Fall 2026 Course Mentor for Symbolic Logic (PHI-102) with Professor Fennell
This position will mentor for two sections of PHI-102. The course meets Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8-8:50AM and 1:10-2PM. You must have previously taken and successfully passed this course to be considered.
The student serves as a positive academic and social resource to others by promoting academic success, persistence and providing direction to appropriate services and staff. Must be able to maintain confidentiality with shared information and possess strong interpersonal and creative problem solving skills.
Duties
Academic Success Center Mentors typically attend class, meet with supervising professor, create lesson plans, and facilitate weekly mentor sessions for students in that class. This totals a maximum of 8 hours per week.
