Job description
Climbing Wall Staff are responsible for managing risk at the climbing wall while facilitating a welcoming and inclusive environment for Grinnell College students, faculty, staff, and community members.
Responsibilities
- Assisting patrons in the correct use of climbing wall equipment
- Belaying patrons for top rope climbing
- Upholding and enforcing climbing wall policies and procedures
- Managing set up and clean up of the climbing wall
- Inspecting climbing wall equipment
- Responding to medical emergencies at the climbing wall
Qualifications
Current CPR certification or ability to successfully obtain CPR certification within one month of employment (certification provided by PEAR)
