Must be at least 18 years old with strong swimming proficiency and the ability to pass a Red Cross lifeguard swim test. Required certifications include YMCA V.6 Swim Lesson Instructor or equivalent, CPR/AED, and First Aid.
The Swim Lesson Instructor is responsible for providing safe, high-quality, engaging swim instruction in accordance with YMCA of the USA (Y-USA) standards and curriculum. This role ensures a positive member experience, promotes youth development, and maintains strict adherence to all YMCA Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) policies, including requirements associated with Presidium accreditation.
