Job description

  • Description The Day Camp Counselor is responsible for nurturing, interacting with, and supporting campers to create a safe and inclusive environment where they can have a fun-filled and exciting camp experience.
  • Counselors will lead and engage campers in daily activities, ensuring their well-being and participation throughout the week.
  • Manage a group of campers alongside co-counselor(s) Monday through Friday, ensuring their safety and supervision throughout the day.
  • Lead campers through a structured weekly schedule that includes various camp activities such as sports, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and team-building exercises.
  • Participate in, teach, and assist with all camp activities, ensuring an energetic and enthusiastic atmosphere.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment where campers feel encouraged to grow and make new friends.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to campers while helping them navigate their camp experience.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe camp environment.
  • Adhere to all camp policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Requirements
