The Swim Lesson Instructor is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, and engaging swim instruction following YMCA standards and curriculum. This role must ensure a positive member experience while strictly adhering to all YMCA Child Abuse Prevention policies.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with two years of high school or equivalent education, possessing required certifications like Lifeguard/First Aid and CPR/AED. The Swim Lesson Instructor is responsible for providing safe, high-quality, engaging swim instruction in accordance with YMCA of the USA (Y-USA) standards and curriculum. This role ensures a positive member experience, promotes youth development, and maintains strict adherence to all YMCA Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) policies, including requirements associated with Presidium accreditation.
