- Dates: August 3 – October 14, 2026 Position Overview Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy (FSHA) is seeking a motivated and collaborative Assistant Flag Football Coach to support the development of student-athletes within the school’s flag football program. The Assistant Coach will work closely with the Head Coach to create a positive and competitive environment focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Primary Responsibilities Assist with planning and conducting practices, conditioning sessions, and game preparation. Teach and reinforce football fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Support student-athlete development both on and off the field. Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, travel, and team activities. Assist with equipment management and program logistics. Maintain positive communication with athletes, families, and school staff. Ensure compliance with CIF, league, school, and safety regulations. Participate in summer training and camp activities beginning June 16, as needed. QualificationsQualifications Previous coaching or playing experience in football or flag football preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes. Commitment to supporting the growth and development of young women. Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain prior to the season. Completion of required coaching certifications prior to the season. Physical Requirements Ability to actively participate during practices and games. Ability to lift and move athletic equipment. Availability for evenings, weekends, practices, games, and team activities.
