Works under the supervision of a Master’s or Doctorally prepared nursing faculty member primarily in the clinical setting. Preferred Qualifications

Three years of experience as a Registered Nurse with recent or current experience in acute care areas including medical-surgical, critical care, pediatrics, or OB Master of Science in Nursing Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Verbal and written communication skills. Clinical expertise to function effectively and safely in the designated area of teaching. Ability to perform all tasks and job responsibilities safely without injury to self and others in compliance with A&M System and HSC guidelines. Responsibilities Supervision of Students Functions in the role of clinical supervisor. Assists faculty with the supervision of student’s skills performance, student evaluation and other aspects of student learning in the clinical setting. Clinical Setting Consults with a nursing faculty member in clinical settings. Occasional classroom assistance may be requested for activities. Why Texas A&M University?
