Responsibilities

- We are the Piedmont Triad's only private psychiatric hospital meeting the chemical dependency illnesses and behavioral healthcare needs of those in our community.
- Our 164-bed inpatient services for adolescents through senior adulthood offers comprehensive and individual assessments, psychiatric evaluation and medication stabilization, daily group therapy and personalized aftercare planning.
- We also offer a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program to ensure the continuum of care for our patients.
- Old Vineyard is accredited by The Joint Commission and certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

- We are currently seeking a part-time Teacher (temp for Summer months) to work Monday - Thursday (24-hours per week).
- This position is responsible for providing direct instruction and other educational services to hospitalized adolescents in order to help them maintain or improve their academic performance levels/standing.
- Essential Job Duties: Prepare and implement curriculum for all students.
- Interact therapeutically with the patients in one-to-one, community, group and classroom situations.
- Reacts therapeutically in a crisis situation.
- Has a basic understanding of Common Psychiatric Diagnoses.
- Can recognize behaviors associated with and uses proper intervention techniques for Common Psychiatric Diagnoses.
- Has ability to set limits in a kind and firm manner.
- Demonstrates knowledge of outlined consequences of behavior exhibited by patient.
- Follows and implements behavior protocol set for hospital.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field.
