  • Coordinator proctors assessments for students between 7:10 am and 12:10 pm (Monday - Friday) while school is in session. The Morning Testing Center Coordinator communicates regularly with faculty members about testing logistics and may be asked to proctor standardized or semester exams periodically. This position reports to the Assistant Head of Upper School. The Kinkaid School is a co-educational non-sectarian day school enrolling over 1,500 students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. Located on a sixty-five-acre campus in the heart of Houston, Texas, the School offers a thriving intellectual community in the midst of a vibrant, urban, diverse culture. The Upper School faculty enjoys small class sizes and a collegial, collaborative environment centered on intellectual curiosity and continuous professional development ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collect assessments from teachers and review instructions Distribute assessments to students who come to the testing center Follow teachers’ instructions closely, including the timing of assessments for various students in the room who are taking different assessments Circulate the testing room and monitor students Report testing time and irregularities to faculty members on the assessment’s cover sheet May be asked to proctor standardized or semester exams May serve as a substitute teacher when the testing center is not occupied Qualifications High School Diploma or GED.
