A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood is required, with a Master's degree preferred. Candidates must hold NYS certification for children with disabilities from Birth to 2nd grade.
Description Astor Services is hiring Preschool Teachers today! Enjoy working Monday through Friday from 8-3pm. Head Start is a federally funded preschool program delivering services to 3 and 4-year old children and their families in core areas of early learning, health, and family well-being.
The Teacher will be responsible for the delivery of educational services to children in a classroom setting in a lead role. The teacher will utilize the Creative Curriculum, a play-based Curriculum, to provide a safe, engaging and nurturing classroom for three and four-year-olds. The teacher will be responsible for implementing high quality lesson plans, ongoing assessments, and will participate in home visits to provide families with feedback on their child’s development. You must have: · Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood withy a Masters degree preferred. · NYS certification children with disabilities Birth-2nd grade required.
