Assists the Lead Teacher in executing lesson plans, managing small groups of children, and conducting family visits. Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean classroom environment and documenting child progress and assessments.
Requires a high school diploma, a CDA credential (or enrollment in one), and one year of experience with young children. Must possess a current First Aid/CPR certificate and a Food Worker Card.
Assists the Lead Teacher in all facets of center activities, carrying out lesson plans, conducting family visits and parent-teacher conferences, incorporating education, disability, health, mental health, family and attendance component plans, completing screenings, assessment and reports, and leading large and small groups of children.
