Duties and Responsibilities

The SLP works in collaboration with the special education teacher in the formation of daily schedules, testing schedules, and annual meetings. The SLP also supplies the special education teacher with current speech/language student lists so he/she can maintain a master Special Education list. NHA provides specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability such as, resource room, inclusion and/or pullout services.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in communication disorders or speech-language pathology from a regionally accredited institution; and Verification of 8-week practicum with children and students ages birth-21 in a school setting full time under the supervision of a professionally licensed SLP; and School Speech-Language Pathologist Special Services License issued by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE); and Speech-Language Pathologist License issued by the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA); or Valid ASHA CCC-SLP Certification

$29,120.00 to $32,016.80 will be the pay range and is commensurate with experience, education, and market as defined by NHA. The pay range listed is just one component of NHA's total compensation package.
