As an integral part of ministry for the Church, this position will support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic ministry and the mission of the Diocese of Corpus Christi in both professional and personal life Act as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church Continuously grow in the ministry by participating in religious ceremonies, training sessions, and reflection activities as directed Use of a variety of instructional techniques and media to meet the needs and improve the abilities of students in academic growth Classroom management and instruct students to meet the needs at their levels to view growth Work with other members of school staff to plan and implement instructional goals and objectives to ensure the overall educational development of all students Establish criteria for students to be familiar with expectations in the classroom; model the expectation and praise students who rise above it Keep all information about individual students confidential and promote student growth emotionally and academically Work with peer teacher collaboratively to attain growth and guidance of the program Ensure all student expectations are clearly communicated to students and parents Monitor and support student academic growth Mental/Physical Demands: Ability to carry, pull, push, lift, or move objects 10 pounds or more Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, turning, reaching, climbing, and balancing Ability to maintain composure under duress Ability to work inside and outside (exposure to sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather); frequent exposure to noise; frequent districtwide and statewide travel; frequent prolonged and irregular hours; moderate exposure to vehicle fumes and work around moving vehicles.
