Provides administrative and operational support for the Office of Faith Formation and Discipleship, including managing registrations, records, and communications. Assists in the coordination of various religious education programs and event logistics for the parish community.
A bachelor's degree in Theology or a related field and two years of ministry experience are preferred. Candidates must be proficient in Catholic teachings and pass a comprehensive pre-employment background screening.

As an integral part of ministry for the Church, this position will support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic ministry and the mission of the Diocese of Corpus Christi in both professional and personal life Act as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church Continuously grow in the ministry by participating in religious ceremonies, training sessions, and reflection activities as directed Assist with registrations, forms, payments, and database management Maintain communication systems including Flocknotes/OSV and ministry records Assist with calendars, bulletin submissions, and scheduling Prepare catechist materials and classroom supplies Support volunteer coordination and check-in systems Assist with event logistics, ministry setup, and session coordination Maintain reports, attendance systems, and operational records Assist with finance/payment support and ministry supply ordering Support High School Youth, Middle School Youth, OCIC, Parent Formation, OCIA, Sacramental Preparation and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd programs Provide department support including evenings and weekends as needed Perform other duties as assigned Standard Expectations & Ministry Responsibilities: Work as a team with the entire parish staff in order to advance the goals of the Office of Faith Formation and Discipleship while respecting and supporting the needs of the parish as a whole Communicate, market, and advertise on behalf of the Office of Faith Formation and Discipleship and the parish Serve as a liaison between the parish and diocesan offices Foster and encourage a relationship with our Triune God, our Blessed Mother Mary, and all the holy men and women of the Church Encourage individuals and families to discern God's will in their lives Assist and collaborate with the Director of Parish Faith Formation and Discipleship in all events sponsored by that office Mental/Physical Demands: Ability to carry, pull, push, lift, or move objects 10 pounds or more Ability to maintain composure under duress; maintain emotional control under stress Must maintain confidentiality of the department QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Theology, Ministry, Religious Studies, or a related field preferred At least two years of ministry experience preferred Formation/Certification of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd preferred Know the basic teachings of the Catholic Church and live by them with an openness to learn more about the Faith Food handler's license preferred Valid Texas driver's license Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills with attention to customer service Strong organization skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, volunteers, parish & Diocesan community Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion Proficiency with computer hardware and basic office software Additional Requirements: Must successfully complete pre-employment screening including criminal history background check, motor vehicle record review (MVR), and drug screening Certification in Safe Environment training provided by the Office for Safe Environment and Child & Family Resources is required Must adhere to all Diocesan policies and procedures throughout the entire employment period To be considered for employment with the Diocese of Corpus Christi locations, all interested individuals must complete the online application at
