Position Summary
Full Consideration Date 5/22/26 Brief Work Unit Description This position will assist with all aspects of TGEC outreach and programming, including providing general support and coordination for volunteer supervision and scheduling, program schedule, equine schedule, and program marketing and promotion. Essential Job Duties Assist with all aspects of volunteer program, including but not limited to recruitment, interviewing, screening, training, scheduling, record keeping, and ongoing stewardship. Assist with administrative tasks including, but not limited to monitoring horse usage, preparing weekly schedule with providers, including overall annual program schedule, ordering office supplies and other equipment, and assist with monitoring and ordering general program inventory. Assist in providing instruction to or explanation of EAS programming to staff, interns, students and volunteers. Assist in hosting EAS demonstrations and providing instructions to or explanation of EAS programming to potential clients and general public, organize and host tours and special events at TGEC and in community. Perform other duties as required.
Conditions of Employment
Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for all new hires). Authorized to work in the United States by employment start date. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position to include standing and walking for prolonged periods of time. Supervision None
Minimum Qualifications
Experience managing equine-assisted services programming. Experience educating others about equine activities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with and managing volunteers.
Preferred Qualifications
