A Substitute Teacher is responsible for teaching and supervising students in the absence of the regular teacher. They must follow lesson plans, manage classroom behavior, and ensure the safety and well-being of students. The substitute teacher helps maintain continuity in the educational process and may work across various grade levels and subject areas.

Job Responsibilities Classroom Instruction

Follow the lesson plan provided by the absent teacher or school administration. Deliver instructional content to students using appropriate materials, tools, and resources. Adapt lessons and activities as needed to meet the diverse needs of students.

Classroom Management

Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment. Enforce school rules and policies to ensure smooth class operations. Manage student behavior and address disruptions using appropriate methods.

Student Engagement

Actively engage students in learning activities to promote participation. Provide guidance and support to help students understand the material.

Assessments and Feedback

Monitor student progress and provide feedback according to the lesson plan. Administer quizzes, tests, and assessments as required. Submit completed work and any necessary reports to the regular teacher or school administration.
