Training

Paid pre-camp training is required and will take place from in mid to late June.

Your Role

Summer Camp Counselor at Battery Park Montessori As a Preschool Summer Camp Counselor, you will play an essential role in providing a safe, fun, and enriching summer experience for our preschool-aged campers. Working in collaboration with the Summer Camp Directors, you will help deliver a summer program that encourages learning, creativity, and growth. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about working with young children, are flexible in their approach, and thrive in a team environment. Counselors with language proficiency in Spanish or Mandarin are highly encouraged to apply, as this will enhance the immersive environment for our campers.

Key Responsibilities Supervision & Care

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children throughout the camp day, assisting with daily routines such as bathrooming, meals, and nap times.
