Job description
Position Overview Discovery Kidzone Careers is hiring a Full-Time Assistant Teacher for our Infant and Toddler program in Bozeman. This position works alongside the Lead Teacher to help create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment for young children during their early developmental stages.
We are seeking dependable and caring individuals who enjoy working with children and supporting hands-on learning through play, routines, and responsive care.
Responsibilities
Assist with the daily supervision and care of infants and toddlers Support feeding routines, including bottle preparation and safe storage procedures Change diapers and assist with age-appropriate toileting routines Help lead engaging activities such as music, sensory play, movement, and story time Encourage children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Maintain classroom routines for meals, naps, and activities Ensure children are supervised in a safe and supportive environment Communicate daily updates and important information with families Work collaboratively with teaching staff and center leadership Help maintain classroom cleanliness and follow health and safety guidelines
Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years of age CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of employment Previous childcare experience is helpful but not required Interest in early childhood education and child development Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks throughout the day Positive, patient, and dependable attitude Ability to complete all required state trainings and licensing requirements
