About the Role

Discovery Kidzone School Careers is seeking a caring and dependable Full-Time Assistant Teacher to support our Infant and Toddler classrooms in Bozeman. This position works closely with the Lead Teacher to help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where young children can learn and grow through daily routines and play-based experiences.

We are looking for team members who are patient, attentive, and passionate about early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities Support the daily care and supervision of infants and toddlers Assist with feeding routines, including bottle preparation and proper storage procedures Change diapers and assist with toilet learning when appropriate Help implement age-appropriate activities such as sensory play, music, movement, and story time Encourage children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and motor development Maintain consistent routines for meals, naps, and classroom activities Monitor children closely to ensure a safe environment at all times Share daily updates with families regarding routines and milestones Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support classroom operations Help maintain a clean, organized, and healthy classroom environment

Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years old CPR and First Aid Certification required within 30 days of hire No prior experience required; training provided Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to remain calm, patient, and attentive in a busy classroom setting Interest in early childhood education and child development Ability to meet state licensing and training requirements
