We are seeking a track & field / cross country graduate assisiant to work in conjunction with the head track & field / cross country coach in all aspects related to the operation of the track & field / cross country program.
Additional Information
Track & Field / Cross Country coaching duties: ensure compliance with all institutional, conference, and NCAA standards; organize and conduct safe practice/training sessions, purchase and maintain equipment, schedule intercollegiate contests, monitor the academic progress and overall development of student-athletes, establish behavioral/social expectations for student-athletes participating in the track and field / cross country program; monitor track and field / cross country facilities for safety of all users during open hours Recruit track & field / cross country prospective student-athletes. The annual goal will be determined by the athletic director, in consultation with the head coach, and will be based on the current roster size, institutional priorities, and a three-year average of recruiting history. Additional Information
The graduate assistant must successfully enroll as a full-time student in a Graduate Program. Qualified candidates must have at least an overall 3.0 undergraduate GPA to be considered for admission to the GPE. This two year position is available beginning August 2026. The graduate assistant can work up to 20 hours per week and will require weekend and evening work, as well as some team travel. Compensation for this position will be offered as tuition remission and a stipend of $5,400.00 per semester. The successful candidate will be subject to a background check and driving record check as a condition of employment.
