Job description

  • Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide.
  • We are hiring an English Language Teacher (ESL) to provide in-person customized lessons to children in Las Vegas, Nevada.
  • Job Information: Class numbers: 197134 and 197135 Students: Two siblings, ages 13 and 15, taking individual classes back-to-back Target language: English Requested times: Flexible Preferred start date: mid July 2026 Lesson frequency: 5x per week initially until school starts.
  • Once the school year starts, lessons will continue with lower frequency.
  • Lesson length: 60 minutes for each student Student’s location: Lessons are to be held at the student's home in Summerlin, Las Vegas, NV Current English level: Possibly high-beginners Language spoken at home: Japanese Students’ language needs and goals: First, they would like to focus on essential English skills, survival English, socialization, etc., and later some academic support (e.g., reading and listening comprehension)

Qualifications

To have a native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language To have a degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field. To have a minimum of two years of experience teaching ESL Experience teaching children is a must. All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
