The majority of the materials used in CA’s math courses were written by the math faculty and reflect their commitment to helping students make sense of mathematical principles, recognize the connections between them, and apply them in real-world contexts, all in a spirited atmosphere of mathematical discovery. The math faculty places a special emphasis on developing the ability to reason using mathematical concepts.
