Brook lane clinical therapist – laurel hall school (Hagerstown, md campus)

Full‑Time | 80 Hours Bi‑Weekly | Monday–Friday, 8: 00 AM–4:00 PM

Brook Lane is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Therapist to join our Laurel Hall School team in Hagerstown, MD. This is a meaningful opportunity to support school‑aged children and adolescents through therapeutic services that promote emotional well‑being, academic success, and personal growth.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide counseling, collaborate with educators and families, and help create a supportive environment where students can thrive.

  • What you’ll do
  • Provide therapeutic services to Laurel Hall students, including individual and group counseling.
  • Support students’ emotional and behavioral needs within a school‑based setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
  • Maintain documentation and complete required trainings in accordance with Brook Lane and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Education
  • Completion of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program.
  • Experience
  • Training and/or experience working with school‑aged children and adolescents in clinical, educational, or behavioral health settings.
  • Licensure & certifications
  • LCSW‑C or LCPC (licensed at the certified clinical level).
  • Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid certification.
  • Valid Driver’s License and driving record meeting Meritus vehicle policy requirements.
  • Annual submission of a certified driving record and signed acknowledgment of Attestation A per Meritus Vehicle Management Use and Control policy.
  • Knowledge, skills & abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining licensure requirements and completing assigned trainings.
