Responsible for the daily care, supervision, and implementation of individualized service plans for traumatized youth. Staff document client progress and guide them in developing independent, social, and transitional living skills.
Requires a high school diploma and at least two years of experience in mental health or group home settings if no degree is held. Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and the ability to work weekends.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma required. Bachelors degree or progression toward a degree in Mental Health or Social Services preferred EXPERIENCE: Two years or more experience in a mental health, group home and/or other room, board and watchful oversight setting working with youth and adolescents required without a degree in a social service field Other qualifications: Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; relationship management and multi-tasking skills are required. Strong technical skills and ability to utilize in-house computer applications. Valid Driver's License required; Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results. On-call, weekend availability and some holidays required. You must be able to work every other weekend, as required.
