We are seeking an energetic, nurturing, and confident BCBA who will be responsible for coordinating, scheduling, communicating and continually evaluating the effectiveness of functional assessments, behavioral evaluations, behavior plans and individual education plans for clients on their caseload.

Duties and Responsibilities

Complete assessments, design treatment plans, staff training, parent training, meet and collaborate with other professionals, conduct clinical meetings, provide first responder and other community member training. Provide our families with regular, interactive and lecture and hands on parent education (in 1:1 and monthly group structure). Provide interactive and lecture-based staff training, for teachers, paraprofessionals, and community members. Help others grow in their practice of ABA! Participate in daily and quarterly staff evaluation and performance feedback sessions. Supervision of BCBA and BCBA candidates, RBT's, and other staff. Board Certified Behavior Analyst Qualifications: Master’s degree from accredited university in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, Education, or related field Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA) Licensed Behavior Analyst, NY state Minimum 2 years' experience providing ABA services to children with Autism Experience conducting skill and behavioral assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, FBA, etc.) Expertise in development of skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs Experience supervising BCBAs and/or Behavior Technicians (RBT) preferred CPR/First Aid/BLS, HIV Awareness Training, and 8-hour BCBA Supervision Training

Physical Requirements Must be able to keep students safe from themselves and others and, in some cases, may need to implement CPI (therapeutic holds) procedures. Must be able to remove oneself from potentially harmful situations and, in some cases, be able to lift a child. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the workday Ability to lift (at least 50-65 pounds), assist, and/or physically support students, which may include lifting or guiding students of varying sizes Ability to physically intervene when required to ensure safety (per CPI training) Ability to remove oneself and/or others from unsafe situations quickly Ability to maintain attention and focus in a dynamic, high-stimulation environment Ability to multi-task and shift priorities quickly Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making, particularly in high-pressure or safety-sensitive situations Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain professional relationships Ability to perform duties under stress, including during behavioral escalations
