Job description

Administrative Assistant III will provide day-to-day administrative and clerical support to the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Performs complex, advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative duties at the highest level.

A successful candidate will pay strong attention to detail, work with time-sensitive deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team environment. Must be proactive, strategic, and organized with ability to balance a wide range of responsibilities in the support of their department.

Responsibilities

  • Calendaring, meeting/event planning and coordination.
  • Communicating with a diverse group of internal and external customers.
  • Coordinating and supporting departmental meetings and events (both face to face and virtual)
  • Supporting the faculty evaluation process
  • Managing information on various web-based platforms
  • Organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files.
  • Will interact with diverse populations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required. Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 6 years of related experience required. experience as executive assistant, customer support staff or similar role preferred.
  • Experience working in health care, health sciences, or higher education a plus.
  • Must have a high level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
