Summary The Head Club Coach will execute practice plans and support student leadership. Club teams are student-led by Wake Forest University students and manage the team. Club Sports programming promotes student development, positive co-curricular experiences, and positive representation of the university. This position requires evening and weekend work.

Currently recruiting: Men's Rugby Women's Rugby Cycling Softball Tennis Essential Functions: Use a variety of instructional techniques and media to meet the needs and improve the abilities of student athletes in the sport assigned. Manage and supervise sport activities, contests, and practice sessions to promote individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. Work with the members of the club to plan and put in place instructional goals and objectives to ensure the overall development of student athletes Establish performance criteria for competition and evaluate students’ athletic abilities initially and on a regular basis. Take all necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities. Communication with constituents, parents/alumni, team doctor, Sport Programs department, and vendors to ensure team is well supported Perform other duties as assigned by the Sport Programs Coordinator Other Functions: Complete club sport trainings or University trainings when required Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Requires rules knowledge and regulations of league and requirements Previous experience as a player or coach Attend practices and games from late August - April Additional
