• Cross-training is available and expected for all positions.
• Responsibilities and Duties: Complete health, dental, mental health, and nutrition screenings within the required timeline.
• Maintain positive relationships with parents and support parents as they complete the required. immunizations and other medical and dental follow-up procedures for their children.
• Maintain first aid and pediatric CPR certification and provide first aid when necessary.
• Promote health and safety practices within the program by implementing and monitoring health and hygiene practices in classrooms and the center

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, working towards a health credential, or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), to be completed within two years of hire (required) Associate's degree, LPN, RPN (preferred) Experience working with young children (required) Experience in the health and nutrition field 2+ years experience with children and families(preferred) 2+ years experience with health and nutrition (preferred) The successful candidate will be: compassionate, organized, flexible, a good communicator, a team player Physical abilities: Must be able to lift 30 pounds independently without assistance
