What You’ll Be Doing

The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech or language needs, formulate individualized treatment programs, maintain appropriate records, and communicate with teachers, parents, and members of the student's support team about students' progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting evaluations and developing diagnoses, treatment plans, and measurable goals
  • Providing direct speech, language, and feeding therapy services
  • Modifying treatment plans based on progress and changing needs
  • Documenting services in accordance with organizational requirements
  • Communicating with families, service coordinators, and other stakeholders regarding progress and outcomes
  • Supporting students or clinical fellows as requested

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology/ Communication required
  • Must have a valid Indiana license to be considered
  • Experience in schools preferred but not required
