Salary Range

$57,500-$75,000 annualized salary, based on experience and qualifications. Paid Time Off: 6 days per year, prorated based on your start date.

  • AnthroMed is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide onsite therapy in South Redford, Michigan.
  • This full-time role will support the district's ASD classrooms.
  • You’ll work alongside another occupational therapist, as well as a multidisciplinary team to support K-12th grade students.

Responsibilities

· Provide full-time occupational therapy services, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-3:00PM. · Conduct evaluations, develop individualized educational plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based interventions to address fine motor and sensory regulation needs. · Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support students’ skills across both classroom and individual settings. · Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders. · Utilize IEP system for management and compliance. · Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities. · Enjoy a dedicated office space for therapy sessions and planning.

Qualifications

· Certification as an Occupational Therapist in the state of MI. · Previous experience working with children or in a school-based setting is preferred. · Strong communication and collaboration skills. · Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. · Passion for working with diverse student populations. · Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
