  • Summary: Encompass Youth Services Mental Health Program is currently hiring for a full time Mental Health Clinician with experience working with youth and families. This clinical position provides a combination of remote telehealth services and in-person services at our clinics and in the community. Services are provided for youth ages 3-20 and their families, including comprehensive psychosocial assessment, client-centered treatment planning, individual and family therapy, case management, and crisis support. This position is full time, Monday through Friday, during typical business hours with some early evening hours required to accommodate family scheduling needs. This position is salaried to promote flexibility for clinicians to manage their own weekly work schedules and options for working remotely with provided electronic mobile devices. We promote connectivity and support as a team through team meetings. Essential to this position is excellent documentation and time management skills, ability to meet direct service productivity expectations, and ability to work collaboratively with other service providers. Registration with California BBS required – Quality individual and group supervision for license-track clinicians is provided to cover weekly clinical hours. Clinicians bilingual in Spanish or encourage to apply.

Duties & Responsibilities

Medi-Cal documentation including: Progress notes, Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths assessments, psychosocial assessments and treatment planning Meet productivity requirements (currently 50% direct services with clients/families) Provide remote, office and field based mental services to youth and families Maintain appropriate and timely documentation through the Avatar system Attend weekly individual and group clinical supervision Work closely with Children’s Behavioral Health and other community providers Represent the agency in a professional and collaborative manner that fosters positive working relationships with other agencies and agency representatives. Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Counseling or Psychology and registration with the BBS required (AMFT, LMFT, APCC, LPCC only). Applicant may be in last quarter practicum at a BBS accredited University. Bilingual in English/Spanish encouraged Clinical experience with diverse populations including established competency and experience in specialized areas of child, adolescent and family counseling. Effective verbal and written communication skills Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel Proof of citizenship or right to work in the United States Criminal Record Clearance before hire.
