Job description
- Ridgeview Classical Schools is seeking interested and qualified candidates for a part-time Resource Room Coordinator. The Resource Room serves as the "operational backbone" of the school and involves assisting faculty with copies, ordering supplies and materials, organizing and distributing textbooks, and coordinating purchasing. Ridgeview is seeking applicants who are genuinely glad to help, who notice what needs doing before being asked, and who can keep a shared space organized and running smoothly. This position is part time at 20-25 hours a week during the school year. Summer hours will also be part time and flexible. Day to day, this position is responsible for:
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked Resource Room that faculty and staff can rely on.
- Assisting students, faculty, staff, and parent volunteers with copying, printing, ordering, and materials needs.
- Troubleshooting copier issues — clearing jams, performing basic maintenance, and coordinating service calls when needed.
- Managing and organizing textbooks and instructional materials, including tracking inventory accurately.
- Coordinating the purchasing, receiving, and distribution of supplies and materials across departments.
- Processing purchase requests and maintaining accurate ordering records.
- Communicating proactively with faculty and staff about materials status, supply needs, and textbook updates.
- Maintaining accurate student textbook records using our student information system (training provided).
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine enjoyment of serving others.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience operating or troubleshooting office equipment (helpful, but not required).
- Willingness to learn our student information and purchasing systems.
