About the role

Franklin Pierce University, a proud member of NCAA Division II and the Northeast-10 Conference, is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual for the position of Graduate Assistant Coach for Men's and Women's Tennis. The appointment will begin in June 2026.

The Graduate Assistant position is a two-year position, includes tuition remission and a stipend of $666.67 per month worked. Expectation to work 20 hours per week. Acceptance of the position is contingent upon successful admission into the University’s Graduate School.

Primary Responsibilities

  • The Graduate Assistant position in the Strength and Conditioning Department. Qualified candidates must possess the desire to become a full-time strength and conditioning professional.
  • Graduate assistant responsibilities will include: the design and implementation of training programs for assigned teams assisting the head strength and conditioning coach with duties such as data collection set up and break down of equipment for training sessions routine maintenance of the equipment and facility. Applicants will be required to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required Acceptance into a Franklin Pierce University graduate program (required prior to start) be certified through the CSCCa or NSCA must be CPR/AED certified. Strong communication, leadership, detailed-oriented, and organizational skills Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start) Valid driver's license Previous strength and conditioning experience are preferred Explore Franklin Pierce University’s Graduate offerings at www.franklinpierce.edu to learn more about our programs.
