Campus Safety Officer - 1st Shift Part-Time

The campus safety officer is responsible for completing safety and security assignments and responding to emergency and crisis incidents during assigned shifts, ensuring a safe environment for the university community. Duties include campus patrols, responding to emergencies, access management, alarm response, dispatching, and providing transportation services.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate's or bachelor's degree in criminal justice or a related field preferred, alongside a minimum of 1 year of experience in law enforcement or campus safety. Candidates must be physically capable of standing up to 50% of the time, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, possess a valid driver's license, and obtain several required certifications within three months of hire.
