To be successful in this role, you will

  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of a therapeutic milieu according to each child’s treatment plan and agency philosophy.
  • Be responsible for providing quality care and treatment to children, responding sensitively and proactively to the individual treatment and educational needs of the children.
  • Support the child during transitions from one activity to the next such as to music and PE.
  • Support the classroom teacher, providing one-on-one or small group lesson support.
  • Support the children's morning routine to aid in a successful day at school!

Qualifications

  • Skills and abilities are typically acquired through two years of related work experience such as Paraprofessional, childcare, Head Start, and respite care providers.
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate or bachelor’s degree in social science or closely related field is preferred but not required.
  • 19 years or older
  • Valid Montana Driver’s License (or obtain within 60 days of employment)
  • Must pass a Background check prior to start date
