  • The aide assists with classroom instruction, student supervision, preparation of materials, and administrative tasks while helping maintain a positive and productive learning environment.Job Responsibilities Assist teachers with implementing lesson plans and instructional activities.
  • Provide individual and small-group support to students under the direction of the teacher.
  • Reinforce academic concepts and learning objectives.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support strategies.
  • Prepare instructional materials, classroom displays, and learning resources.
  • Monitor students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, field trips, and other school functions as assigned.
  • Support students with special needs in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs) and teacher guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records, attendance logs, and other required documentation.
  • Assist with grading assignments and organizing student work.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, students, and parents as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or college coursework preferred.
