- Louis.Job Summary All Souls Catholic Church is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Part-Time PSR Coordinator to oversee and support the Parish School of Religion (PSR) program.
- The coordinator will help create a welcoming and organized faith formation environment for students, families, catechists, and volunteers while supporting the mission of Catholic religious education within the parish.
- The PSR Coordinator will assist with communication, scheduling, sacramental preparation logistics, and day-to-day program operations.
- Schedule Requirements:● Availability on Mondays, Thursdays, and occasional Sundays● Additional flexible hours for meetings, sacramental preparation, and program coordination Job Responsibilities ● Coordinate and support the parish PSR program and religious education activities.● Communicate regularly with parents, catechists, students, and parish staff in both English and Spanish.● Assist with planning the PSR calendar, class schedules, sacramental preparation dates, retreats, and special events.● Provide support and guidance to catechists and volunteers.● Organize classrooms, materials, attendance records, and student information.● Coordinate registration and maintain accurate program records.● Assist families with questions regarding the PSR program and sacramental preparation requirements.● Ensure classrooms and program spaces are prepared before classes and activities.● Support First Communion, Confirmation, and other sacramental preparation programs.● Help coordinate volunteers and maintain a safe and welcoming learning environment.● Work collaboratively with clergy, parish staff, and ministry leaders.● Attend designated PSR sessions, meetings, and parish events as required.
- Job Requirements ● Fluent in both English and Spanish.● Experience in Catholic religious education, catechesis, ministry, or education preferred.● Strong organizational and communication skills.● Ability to work well with children, parents, catechists, and parish staff.● Professional, dependable, and welcoming demeanor.● Understanding of Catholic teachings and sacramental preparation preferred.● Ability to manage schedules, communications, and program logistics effectively.● Basic computer and administrative skills preferred.
