ASDOH - Dental Implant Fellow (0.5 FTE) - One year

Description A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) is seeking an exempt Dental Implant Fellow on the Mesa, Arizona campus. The one-year, part-time Dental Implant Fellowship program is designed to provide the fellow with training in implant dentistry, including both surgical placement and restorative procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive implant-related patient care, including consultations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and surgical implant placement and restoration under the supervision of specialty faculty (Periodontics, Prosthodontics, OMFS). Execute advanced clinical procedures, including alveolar ridge preservation, tissue regeneration, and management of implant-related follow-up and emergency care. Support digital dentistry workflows, including digital implant restoration and application of CAD/CAM technologies in both clinical and laboratory settings. Collaborate with faculty and clinical teams, assisting with patient care coordination, follow-ups, and interdisciplinary treatment execution. Engage in clinical education and student support, working directly with dental students during surgical and restorative procedures to reinforce learning and clinical best practices. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education & Experience: Successfully complete D.D.S/ D.M.D from a CODA approved US Dental School with eligibility for licensure in the state of Arizona No Experience required; 1-3 years experience preferred
