Position Summary

The Special Services Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative support to the Special Services team, ensuring efficient operations, compliance, and strong communication across the school community. This role supports student services (IEP/EL), coordinates meetings, and maintains accurate records.

Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and confidential student records (IEP, EL, and compliance documentation) Coordinate and schedule meetings, including IEP meetings and department events Prepare materials, track action items, and record meeting notes Support communication with families, staff, and service providers Assist with reports, data entry, and tracking student information systems Manage office operations, supplies, and departmental logistics Support school‑wide routines, procedures, and emergency preparedness efforts Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication

Qualifications

High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred Administrative experience (school or special education setting preferred) Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and data systems Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Detail‑oriented and able to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
