About the Opportunity AnthroMed Education is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist to support Preschool and Kindergarten students in Melvindale, MI. This full-time, school-based position focuses on helping children develop foundational communication skills that support social-emotional growth, early learning, and school readiness. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to provide engaging, play-based therapy services in a supportive early childhood environment. This is a wonderful opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with young learners and making a meaningful impact during critical developmental years. What You’ll Do Provide speech and language evaluations for early childhood and special education students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals and developmental milestones Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions using play-based and evidence-based approaches Manage a caseload of 30-35 students Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote communication development across settings Participate in IEP meetings and provide meaningful recommendations to support student success Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance records Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive therapy environment for young learners Support students with a variety of communication needs, including articulation, language, social communication, and AAC needs as appropriate
Qualifications
