Job Summary
- Community Clinic is seeking a Behavioral Health professional to serve as a Behavioral Health School Based Therapist at our Primary Care and Urgent Care clinic in Rogers, AR - Rogers Heritage High School.
- Under the supervision of the assigned Clinical Supervisor, the Behavioral Health School Based Therapist delivers comprehensive therapeutic services to participants in a school setting.
- Through a community-based approach, the BH School Based Therapist provides individual therapy, intake/assessments, suicide risk assessment, crisis stabilization, treatment planning, family therapy, and leads groups in a school and community-based setting.
- In addition, they will provide referrals and coordination with family, school staff medical providers, primary physicians, and other community partners to ensure seamless services and comprehensive care of the participants we serve.
- The schedule for this position will be Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling to students
- Develop and implement personalized intervention plans
- Conduct assessments to identify students' emotional and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, primary care team, and administrators to support students' holistic development
- Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed
- Offer workshops and training sessions for staff and students on mental health issues
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student sessions and progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and develop comprehensive support plans
- Advocate for students' mental health needs within the school community
- Develop and implement preventive programs and activities to promote mental health awareness
- Attend care team meetings and engage in ongoing professional development.
- Adheres to applicable regulatory guidelines and laws, including but not limited to HIPAA/HITECH, CLIA, HRSA, NCQA PCMH and OSHA.

- Ability to use therapeutic modalities to address the needs of the students and families on your caseload. Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective intervention plans. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support students' well-being.

- Knowledge: Familiarity with common medical conditions and psychotropic medications. Strong understanding of child development and psychological theories.

- Skills: Excellent ability to consult and communicate with school staff, other professionals, and other team members.

- Efficiency: Proficiency in using counseling and educational assessment tools. Proficiency in crisis intervention and conflict resolution techniques. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

- Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling required
- LCSW or LPC required
- Experience in mental health field is required
Preferred Qualifications
