About the role

The specialist will conduct comprehensive diagnostic testing and design behavior plans to support students' academic and social success. They will also provide counseling and collaborate with parents and staff to determine special education eligibility.

Fidelity Partners Services, LLC is actively recruiting Licensed Specialists in School Psychology (LSSP) for the San Antonio, Austin and surrounding areas in School Psychology (LSSP) to evaluate students' mental, emotional, and behavioral needs to support academic and social success and conduct psychological testing, design behavior plans, provide counseling, and collaborate with staff and parents to determine special education eligibility. Core Responsibilities Psychological Assessment: Administer comprehensive diagnostic testing (e.g., intelligence, achievement, social-emotional, and autism scales) to identify disabilities and determine special education eligibility. [ Intervention & Counseling: Provide individual or group therapy to help students develop coping skills, manage anger, and navigate crises. Behavior Management: Develop and monitor Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

Consultation

Advise teachers, parents, and administrators on learning strategies, mental health, and inclusive environments.

Committee

Participation: Serve on Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) or Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to interpret diagnostic findings.

Qualifications

Education: Minimum of a Master's degree in School Psychology or a closely related field.

Licensure

Valid LSSP credential issued by the state's board of examiners (e.g., Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists). Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) is also common.
