We're looking for someone to join our team as a Physician Internal Medicine—Faculty who:

The Board certified Internal Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive adult primary care in an ambulatory setting while serving as a clinical educator and preceptor for resident physicians. Delivers evidence-based, patient-centered care; supervises trainees in clinic. The MD/DO must demonstrate experience working in a diverse environment, be flexible, knowledgeable, and compassionate towards the care of our patients. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a warm, caring atmosphere where the health of our patients is of top priority.

Essential Functions

  • 1.
  • Adheres to the highest standards of medical ethics at all times.
  • 2.
  • Required to be willing to supervise internal medicine interns and/or residents in outpatient clinic.
  • 3.
  • Assures quality of care for all patients at all times and regularly participates in clinic Peer Review and Quality Assurance Programs.
  • 4.
  • Maintains ABIM board certification 5.
  • Adheres to the regulations of ACGME when it comes to evaluation of residents and 6.
  • Adheres to and complies with Bureau of Primary Healthcare standards of clinical practice.
  • 7.
  • May assist the Executive Medical Director or Chief Medical Officer in design, implementation, and evaluation of health care programs/protocols for patients and staff.

You will be successful with the following qualifications

1. Professional clinical experience in physician's specialty. 2. Must possess

  • California Physician’s License
  • DEA Certificate
  • AHA
  • BLS certification
  • ABIM Board Certification 3. Authoritative knowledge of the principles, practice, and techniques in the physician's specialty. 4. Interests in the research potential inherent in physician's specialty highly desirable
