  • The teacher will integrate Catholic values into all aspects of education, maintain high academic standards, and uphold the mission and vision of the school in alignment with the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools (NSBECS).Job Responsibilities Integrate and model Catholic values, teachings, and faith-based principles throughout classroom instruction, student interactions, and school activities.
  • Foster a respectful, inclusive, and faith-centered learning environment that reflects Catholic identity and promotes student well-being.
  • Participate actively in school liturgies, prayer services, religious celebrations, and other faith formation activities.
  • Design and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction aligned with Archdiocesan curriculum guidelines, state standards, and the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools (NSBECS).
  • Differentiate instruction to address diverse learning needs and support the academic success of all students.
  • Promote critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, and a lifelong love of learning through innovative teaching practices.
  • Implement current educational research and best practices to enhance student learning and achievement.
  • Support students’ spiritual, academic, social, and emotional development through intentional guidance and mentorship.
  • Maintain high expectations for student behavior, character development, and academic performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.
  • Communicate effectively and regularly with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues regarding student growth, achievement, and support needs.
  • Build positive, collaborative relationships with students, families, faculty, staff, and the broader school community.
  • Contribute to school events, extracurricular activities, service projects, and community-building initiatives.

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Valid teaching credential or certification appropriate for elementary education.
  • Strong knowledge of Catholic teachings, traditions, and doctrine, with a commitment to integrating faith into the educational experience.
  • Previous classroom teaching experience preferred; experience in a Catholic school setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing educational technology and digital learning tools to support and enhance instruction.
