- K-6 Physical Education Teacher Summary The K-6 Physical Education Teacher supports a joyful, structured, and purposeful classroom and gym culture where all students, regardless of ability, feel a sense of belonging and are empowered to succeed.
- The teacher delivers engaging and standards-aligned instruction in physical education, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, motor skill development, and healthy lifestyles.
- The PE Teacher plays a key role in implementing the school's vision for equity and excellence, ensuring all students achieve at high levels and embody the school's core values of practice, service, and purpose.
- The Physical Education Teacher reports to the Assistant Principal of Instruction and collaborates with the school team to create a positive and adaptive learning environment.

Use a variety of instructional strategies to promote physical activity, coordination, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Foster students' enjoyment of movement, exercise, and lifelong fitness through age-appropriate activities.

Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, Health, Kinesiology, or a related field required; Master's Degree preferred. Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Health and Physical Education (or eligibility for certification) preferred. At least one year of teaching experience preferred, with demonstrated success in student engagement and physical instruction. Strong knowledge of instructional strategies and best practices in physical education.
