The Activities Coordinator manages logistics for after-school enrichment and recreational programming to support student growth. Key duties include recruiting students, tracking attendance, and coordinating with community partners and parents.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and two years of experience working with youth. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment are required.

Location: William Penn Elementary School
Monday-Thursday; typically 2:00pm-6:00pm with flexibility; 16 hours per week. 10 month position. Mid August to end of May
The activities coordinator is responsible for coordinating logistics for all after-school enrichment and recreational programming at the community school site. Work is done with direction from the community school coordinator. Data-driven decision making will be used to meet student needs and support social-emotional, physical and academic growth leading to improvements in grade-level reading. This is a part-time position during the Bethlehem Area School District school year.
Two years of experience working with youth. High school diploma necessary, associate degree preferred. Experience working with social services preferred. Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be personable, accepting and service-oriented. Must be flexible and able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions. Ability to follow written and verbal directions and communication effectively through speech and writing. Must be able to exercise good judgment. Bi-lingual fluency (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
