Provide care and treatment for athletic injuries under the direction of a team physician. Teach preventative measures to athletes to avoid injuries in accordance with the Florida Athletic Training Practice Act.
Requires a Master's degree from an accredited university and certification by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATABOC). Candidates must also be eligible for licensure from the Florida State Department of Health.
This position typically reports to the Head Athletic Trainer, Director, or appropriate higher level administrator in the University.
