The ASN Clinical Assistant coordinates and monitors clinical education activities to ensure a quality learning experience for students. This includes supervising student care at clinical sites, providing feedback, and collaborating with Course Lead faculty.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a valid RN license. A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.
The ASN Clinical Assistant position coordinates, facilitates, administers, and monitors activities on behalf of the academic program and in coordination with academic and clinical Course Lead faculty. These activities ensure the quality of the student learning experience during clinical education. The ASN Clinical Assistant accomplishes this through:
Facilitation of the clinical education component of the curriculum with the Course Lead faculty Responsibility for facilitating students' clinical education Responsibility for ensuring clinical education program compliance
