Early Childhood Education Teacher – Infant, Toddler & Preschool Programs

The Learning Experience – Columbus Circle is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Education Teacher to support young learners across our infant, toddler, and preschool programs. This role focuses on creating engaging classroom experiences that foster confidence, independence, communication skills, and a lifelong love of learning.

This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working with a variety of age groups while building strong relationships with children, families, and fellow teachers in a collaborative school environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support daily classroom routines and age-appropriate learning experiences Implement developmentally appropriate activities aligned with children's individual needs and developmental stages Foster social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development Create a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment Guide children through transitions, learning centers, and group activities Build strong relationships with families through regular communication and classroom updates Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership Maintain compliance with New York State and NYC licensing, health, and safety requirements

Qualifications

Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred CDA accepted Candidates with 5+ years of classroom experience and a high school diploma will also be considered Prior childcare or preschool teaching experience required Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice Excellent communication and classroom management skills Must meet New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements
