The teacher is responsible for implementing a research-based curriculum and managing a positive classroom environment for Pre-K children. Key duties include conducting child assessments, documenting progress, and maintaining strong partnerships with families and community agencies.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and possess PA Early Childhood Education Certification (Pre-K to 4). At least one year of experience in an early childhood setting and various state-mandated clearances are required.

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a closely related field. PA Early Childhood Education Certification (Pre-K to 4) is required.

At least one year of experience teaching in an early childhood setting, preferably with a focus on Pre-K or preschool-age children.

o Comprehensive understanding of early childhood development and Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards.
o Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster positive, inclusive environments for young learners.
o Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and colleagues.
o Proficiency with educational technology and assessment tools is a plus.
1. Current Act 114, Act 34, Act 151 and NSOR Clearances required prior to an offer (Must be dated within 1 year of hire date).
2. School Personnel Health Record (Form H511.340) must be completed and received by Human Resources prior to hire date.
3. CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
